Principal Traction Power Engineer
The Principal Traction Power Engineer is a subject matter expert role within the project's Engineering team, which ensures traction power technical leadership and direction for The Metro Tunnel Project, including wider network electrification enhancements is achieved. This role will provide subject matter expertise to cover all traction and related power systems including rail substations, earthing, bonding and electrolysis, electromagnetic compatibility, signal power systems and associated high voltage distribution systems. Working closely within a multi-disciplinary team environment, the Principal Traction Power Engineer will be the primary source of specialist technical advice. Working with multiple stakeholders, this role will consult with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders influencing key project decisions.
