About the Position
Are you passionate about shaping the future of electrical engineering? Charles Darwin University (CDU) is looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Lecturer in Electrical Engineering to join our Faculty of Science and Technology.
In this role, you will play a key role in enhancing the teaching and research profile, with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. You’ll deliver engaging and high-quality education across undergraduate, honours, and postgraduate levels, using innovative and contemporary teaching methods such as on-campus, online, and blended learning approaches.

About You
To be successful, you will require:
- A PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in teaching, curriculum development, and assessment, particularly in Power Engineering and related areas.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver high-quality teaching experiences across a range of formats, including on-campus, online, and blended learning.
- Strong record of research activity, including the ability to produce high-quality research outputs and secure external research funding.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively within academic teams and engage with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge and understanding of sustainable practices in teaching, research, and administration to align with university policies and initiatives.
- Experience in fostering industry relationships and collaborations to support research, curriculum relevance, and student employability.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Research Active Academic Level B. The base salary will be in the range of $112,710 to $133,262 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $131,870 to $155,916 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
