- Remuneration : Level 4 Zone A $105,680 + 26 % Annualised Component + 15% superannuation

The Opportunity
Icon Water’s Network Branch is looking for a highly motivated and service-orientated individual to take on a great opportunity as a First Response.
In this role, you will be delivering emergency response (corrective) network maintenance works including prioritising, troubleshooting and resource coordination to ensure the fulfilment of Icon Water’s maintenance objectives.
As a First Response, you will:
- Manage and coordinate emergency response (corrective) network maintenance activities in the water supply network.
- Manage and be responsible for all aspects of restorations (routine-type) to ensure these are delivered in a timely manner.
- Control planning activities including troubleshooting, prioritising, arranging safe access to customers’ properties, arranging service clearances, and all aspects of technical planning activities.
- Apply interpersonal and communication skills to successfully manage outages, restorations and drive an outstanding customer experience.
- Control, organise and coordinate resources including supporting the Network Maintenance Supervisor.
- Ensure works are safely executed in accordance with Icon Water Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Provide support to the Network Maintenance Supervisor as required on the preventative maintenance program, lead the works program and other responsibilities as required
- Participate in an after-hours supervisor shift roster (on-call) as the duty area manager for emergency response services.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- An experienced Water Industry Operator in Field Operations who is currently competent to perform all the tasks required of a fully qualified Water Industry Operator Level A (preferable).
- Experience in leading a team responsible for maintenance delivery applying leadership, technical investigation, resource, schedule and budget management and workforce planning to drive primary business delivery functions in a utilities environment.
- Knowledge and commitment to relevant Workplace Health, Safety & Environmental legislation, obligations and requirements.
- Subject matter expertise of operational and maintenance knowledge in water supply and sewerage network assets.
- Relevant knowledge to effectively navigate sophisticated information technology systems related to the water and wastewater industry.
- Ability to drive, influence stakeholders and diligently deliver challenging projects and/or business operations in accordance with baseline targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Desirable
- Certificate 4 in Frontline Management
