Senior Electrical Engineer - Substation Design

• Inner North Brisbane
• Distribution substation design
• RPEQ / Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Role Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, you will support a variety of Electrical projects through planning, concept design/ feasibility studies, through to construction tenders and management.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in MV and HV substation design
• Knowledge of Energex standards highly regarded, or similar utilities
• Understanding of relevant Australian and industry codes and standards

Duties and Responsibilities

• Design MV and HV systems, substation, distribution
• Collaborate with electrical, civil and structural engineers
• Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables
