The Opportunity
Due to continued growth, there is an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer, working on projects across the Yamba region. This is an excellent opportunity to take your civil engineering career to the next level by contributing to the successful planning, coordination, and technical supervision of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in effective programming and construction methodologies
- Ensure project milestones are met and compliance standards are adhered to
- Conduct quality assurance and site inspections
- Provide financial reporting and forecasting
- Oversee project administration tasks
- Maintain safe working conditions for staff and subcontractors
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
- Experience in engineering, construction, and project delivery
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining focus on priorities
- Strong skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts, specifications, and Australian standards
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Project
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on motivating and influencing teams
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
