About the role

As a Senior Future Network Engineer, you'll be instrumental in shaping Jemena's future network. Partnering with the Customer and Commercial team, you'll assess and identify cutting-edge engineering solutions that meet evolving customer expectations in the technology landscape.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the development of future network related activities.
• Providing asset management and commercial judgment for grid transformation activities.
• Assist in development and management of systems to support future grid developments.
• Identify and implement opportunities to evolve the Asset Management operating systems and help coordinate and prioritise the asset management program.
• Engage across Electricity Distribution, Digital and within industry to deliver on the pipeline of grid transformation activities.
• Develop and maintain creative ways of keeping all stakeholders informed on Future Network team activities.

A little about you:

• Tertiary qualified in Engineering, technical or technology.
• Experience in the electricity industry.
• Leadership experience across engineering, technical and technology projects with a focus in the electrical industry.
• Ability to liaise and influence stakeholder, regulator and customer.
• Experience in program management, risk assessment & management techniques.
• Ability to write clearly and concisely to produce professional Board papers, business cases and reports with good financial acumen.
• Market knowledge of external stakeholders in the future network sector and have a vision for the future grid and advancements in technology.
