About the role
We are seeking an experienced Azure-based DevOps Engineer to join our Technology team. Reporting to the Technology Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and building and maintaining Terraform modules. This role is critical in analysing system performance and implementing optimisations to ensure scalability.
In this role, you will:
- Azure Cloud Management - Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Infrastructure as Code (Iac) with Terraform – Develop and maintain Terraform, including existing and future patterns.
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using the Azure DevOps tool. Automate the build, test, and deployment processes to Ensure fast and reliable software releases.
- Monitoring and Logging – Utilise Datalog to establish and oversee monitoring and altering solutions; develop customised dashboards, set up alerts and generate reports to closely track and analyse system performance and overall health.
About you
What you will bring to the role:
- Proven experience in a DevOps role, focusing on Azure Cloud Services.
- Strong Terraform proficiency for Iac
- Hands-on experience with Datadog for monitoring and logging
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Proven skills in problem–solving and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security and system administration.
- Excellent communication and leadership, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams across the organisation.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
