As our Technology Engineer, you’ll be the heartbeat of our IT infrastructure, keeping our systems running seamlessly to support essential community services. From planning, installing, and configuring to maintaining and optimising our IT hardware, software, and communication links, you’ll ensure peak performance. You’ll swiftly diagnose and resolve issues, minimizing downtime, and provide training and support to empower our team in using technology effectively.

This role extends beyond system maintenance—you’ll be integral to a mission that impacts lives. Traveling to various sites, including regional areas, you’ll ensure our technology is reliable and accessible. Whether it's a quick trip or extended travel with flights and accommodation, your dedication will equip our teams with the tools needed to deliver life-changing services daily.

What you’ll do:

  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to promote Microsoft digital solutions across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with solution architects and SMEs to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Administer firewalls, switches, routers, and other network hardware/software.
  • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security updates.
  • Support continuous improvement by aligning with long-term goals and tech advancements.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to system support, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven experience in a System, Network, or Security Engineer role, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies and solutions.
  • Working technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Microsoft, IOS
  • Working technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and cabling installation experience
  • Certifications in Microsoft Associate Level 3 or Expert Level in Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
  • ITIL Certification
  • CCNA or willingness to obtain certification
  • Demonstrated continuous professional development in the latest digital workplace technologies and trends.
