About the role

As an Engineer, Project Delivery at Darwin Port, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of engineering projects, ensuring that all aspects of projects are completed on time, within budget, and to highest quality of standard. This full-time position is based in Darwin, NT 0800 and offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic objectives of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with the Port Engineer and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and stakeholders, to identify and resolve project-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Engineering or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, including the ability to plan, schedule, and execute complex projects.
  • Proficient in the use of project management tools and software.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A current Australian driver's licence.
