Construction materials specialist Boral has announced the company will merge its construction materials and cement divisions into a single integrated division, with the appointment of Joseph Goss as the new Division Managing Director to preside over the new body.

As the new Division Managing Director, Boral Construction Materials and Cement, Mr Goss will be responsible to overseeing the company’s significant restructuring.

Boral has also announced that as a result of its organisational restructuring, Murray Reed’s position of Divisional Managing Director has been made redundant.

“Boral Construction Materials & Cement division will be Boral’s largest division and an important future growth platform,” Boral’s CEO Mike Kane said.

“Regrettably, the changes will mean Murray Read will leave the organisation. Murray has made a major contribution to Boral over the past 28 years.”
